Scaler Option 2 allows the operator to set the maximum range of the programming pots with a single rotary switch, with the two octave setting allowing continuous control of the max range from 0V to just over two volts (two octaves). This switch has 8 positions, and allows the operator to set the maximum range at the intervals of a major third, a perfect 4th, a perfect 5th, a minor 6th, one octave, two octave variable range, four octaves or eight octaves.
